I’m a Fix-eater … better defined as a really clean eater who refuses to count calories. I prefer this simple system because it keeps the quality and quantity of my food in check without getting all legalistic about things. Don’t let the name fool you, though … it’s not a quick fix. It’s a REAL education in how to eat for YOUR body, forever. And the workouts are killer, too.
If you think about it, your nutrition is 100% of the equation when it comes to getting {and seeing} results. I’ve heard some people say 70%, others say 80% … but in my own, unprofessional opinion, it’s everything. Based on my own experience, my workouts suffer when my nutrition is not on track.
Here’s an example.
I recently went on an all-expense paid trip to Cancun, Mexico with my fit family. We stayed at an all inclusive resort and let’s just say that my usual clean-eating-21-day-fix-style of eating was not on it’s A-game. I woke up early one morning to go workout with Shaun T, I thought he would be previewing his new workout coming out this July called CIZE … but oh no, we did a FULL ON 45 minutes of Insanity.
Yes, that’s how we do vacation, people. We just sweat it all out.
I suffered through it, it was seriously not my best … all due to lack of good nutrition choices on my part. But seriously, I was so thankful for that workout because I felt so much better afterwards! I totally needed it.
See … I’m smiling!
So back to the nutrition part. If you ever need to get things back on track, a program like 21 Day Fix or 21 Day Fix Extreme will be your best friend. And I’d love to be your online fitness BFF.
