Liz Brock is a 43 year old wife and mom from Tennessee who has been part of Team Fit Revival for the past four years. She has combined her love of the gym and working out from home to help other women achieve their goals — and she’s dang good at it!
After getting to know Liz over the past four years, I can tell you that she is compassionate and gritty. She loves Jesus and others well. She’s a straight shooter, all in love of course. She’s a leader. She’s an athlete. She is fun. She is fearless. And she is an amazing friend and teammate! On top of all of this, she is one of the biggest overcomers that I know.
In 2014, a few days after discovering a lump under her breast and being diagnosed with breast cancer, she also discovered she was pregnant with their now 7 year old daughter. Liz pushed doctors to give her a treatment plan that did not involve terminating the pregnancy. She went on to survive chemotherapy and a lumpectomy while pregnant, then deliver a healthy baby girl. Today, she is in the best shape of her life and just finished her first bikini competition! So this month we honor her, her journey and all of the people that have been impacted by her ongoing only-God story.
Read on to hear what she shared with me …
