Candace is a sweet momma from Birmingham, Alabama who has been part of Fit Revival for about one year. But make no mistake, she is as determined as they come. As her coach, I can tell you that she is one of the best at staying consistent. Our group would not be the same without her! She has also been open to tweaking a new part of her routine when progress starts to slow down. Candace shows up for herself no matter what, even when life gets busy or messy. The result has been a stronger, healthier and more confident version of the woman God created her to be.
She has truly learned what it looks like to take care of her and let God do the rest. So we are celebrating her journey today! I asked her a few questions to help you get to know her better:
What have been your specific wins over the last 30 days? This past month I have learned how to eat better. I have really focused on my nutrition and being sure to eat plenty of vegetables and drink lots of water.
What is the biggest thing you have learned about yourself? And how have you partnered with God in this process? I have learned the importance of fueling your body AND your spirit. They go hand in hand. If you want to be healthier it’s not just about working out and eating right. I’ve learned it is so important to also take the time to pray and read my Bible regularly.
What is your occupation? Clinical Research Coordinator
Do you have any hobbies? I love to hike!
Favorite scripture? Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32
And last but not least … but maybe the most important. What is your favorite song to dance to when no one is watching? Don’t You (Forget About Me)
