Don’t Be Timid With Your Talents

dontbetimid

God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline {2 Timothy 1:7}.

That’s a pretty amazing PROMISE, right? It means you and I don’t have to be afraid to go after the goals and dreams that weigh heavy on our hearts. Those dreams in your heart are there for a reason, He wants you to STEP OUT and use your gifts to accomplish those dreams.

And chances are, you aren’t even qualified at the moment to pursue those dreams and that’s what makes it so scary. But that’s the best part, you step out in FAITH and get to work. Allow Him to GROW you into the woman you were created to be. The growth is truly where the magic happens! I had NO CLUE about business, social media or how to lead a team of others before I started as a coach, but I WAS READY TO FIGHT for my dreams. If it meant I HAD TO let God develop my gifts in order for them to happen, it was worth all of the growing pains in the world. And believe me, there have been so many painful moments in the process. And so many more of those moments to come.

Almost every day, my heart gets a little broken. It breaks for the sisters I meet that are allowing FEAR to control the future. Paralyzed. Settling for “just okay”. Is that you? Can we as a fit sisterhood take a stand together? Can we hold tight to the promise from the Living Word that the fear of using our gifts does not come from God. And with that, we will take ACTION ANYWAYS. You aren’t going to know all of the answers at first. And sister, God will take you on the most amazing journey if you let Him. I’m so sick of hearing that fear is what prevents those I love from saying YES to using their gifts with a BOLDNESS only God can give.
Trust your talents and the one who entrusted them to you. Let’s go do big things for Him and KICK.FEAR.TO.THE.CURB!
