“She goes to inspect a field and buys it; with her earnings she plants a vineyard. She is energetic and strong, a hard worker. She makes sure her dealings are profitable; her lamp burns late into the night.”
I lumped 16-18 together because I thought it would be hard to talk about one without talking about the other. The woman in these verses is wise when it comes to business and finances. Right out of the gate, I find this refreshing. I don’t mean to say that she is the sole decision maker in her household regarding finances, but that she has a lot to offer in this arena. Just recently, I have been inspired by so many women that have found a wonderful balance in their duties as wives, moms and business owners. They have achieved a balance that can only be found by putting God first. I feel grateful to have these women as both friends and mentors, what a blessing!
