I Will Fight.

This video by Steven Furtick at Elevation Church gets me every single time. In fact, my boys and I have come to love it so much that we listen to it on repeat on some days in the car. I guess you could say it’s our FIGHT song.

 

Do you have a FIGHT song? What is it?

 

As we get closer to the end of the year and the chaos of the holidays are upon us, my heart’s cry for our fit sister community is that we commit to FIGHTING FOR IT. I don’t know what your “it” is because it’s not the same for each of us.

 

But here’s mine … I’m fighting off that sense of entitlement that always bubbles up during this time of year. I hear it in my own head. I deserve this, I deserve that … oh hey, I’ve been working pretty hard this year, so I’m just going to sit back and enjoy the ride for the next two months. Take it easy with my fitness, loosen up on my nutrition, basically give in to that old lifestyle that I know I will regret when it’s all said and done. Undo all of the progress that’s been made over the past year.

 

NO THANK YOU. That’s the enemy talking and I’m calling him OUT. 

 

So instead of waking up on January 1st of the new year with regret, I’m going to wake up on January 1st proud, confident and empowered to live out my God-given potential. Ready to run for his kingdom! We have the opportunity to do things differently not because we need to look or be a certain way, but because there is GREATNESS bubbling up in your spirit and you just have to take action on it and starting in January is not an option. We start NOW. Are you coming with me?

 

There will be opposition.

There will be sacrifice.

There will be discomfort.

 

Sounds fun, huh? I’m guessing that doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun, but God never grows us in our comfort zone. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to settle for anything less than God’s best for my life. So if it takes some discomfort to see what that’s all about, I’M ALL IN. And when we’re up to something that furthers HIS kingdom, we’re bound to experience some resistance. I can assure you, that the enemy is not too happy about you about getting all healthy and strong and equipped to do big things for God. He just doesn’t roll like that. But, we serve the KING of the universe and his Word is alive and well, it says that NO weapon formed against US will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). So guess what, sister? WE’VE GOT THIS.

 

I’m asking you to step out of your comfort zone as I step out of mine … we’ll do it together.  

 

I’m hosting an EPIC “I WILL FIGHT” virtual bootcamp that will kick off on Monday, November 28th.

 

I’ll help you pick a program that is right for you, but many of us will be doing a new program launching on October 31st called Core de Force. What is Core de Force?

It’s an explosive mixed martial arts-inspired total body workout designed by Beachbody Super Trainers Joel Freeman and Jericho McMatthews to blast fat and carve your waist in just 30 days – with no equipment. I’m pretty excited about the simplicity of no equipment, especially with holiday travel and the need to get in, get out and get it DONE! And if your spouse is willing, this is the a perfect workout to do together. 

I love this workout because there is a “learn it and work it” section to each workout so that you can brush up on your moves and then go right in and have the confidence to kick some booty right away. YEAH! The other thing I love is that each workout consists of rounds and spikes. After you finish a round, it’s followed up by a SPIKE. This spike is a short burst of more intense cardio activity and really increases your calorie burn, even after the workout is done!

There is a modifier in each workout that breaks everything down into simpler, more low impact moves. And as you get stronger, you’ll be able to continue to challenge yourself by following the modifier less and less. Bottom line, you go at your pace and this is truly a challenging workout for all fitness levels!

 


 

Who is Core de Force for?

Core de Force is for everyone! No matter if you are beginner or advanced, you will be challenged on your level. This program is transforming, not just on the outside, but on the inside as well. What about the workouts?

There are 8 workouts on 3 DVD’s + a bonus workout for having me as your coach! The workouts are all 30-45 minutes long and they come with a 30 day calendar so that you know what workout you’re doing on what day. We’ll work out for 6 days and stretch on the 7th. No guesswork! Who has time for guessing, anyways? I can’t tell you how many times I used to go to the gym and have NO CLUE about what I was supposed to do. The workouts are intense enough for intermediate to advanced fitness levels, but there is a modifier who takes things lower impact for beginners. 

 

So tell me about this FIT SISTERHOOD …

If you’ve read this far and you must be really serious about adopting this BRAWLER, I WILL FIGHT attitude … good, that means you are a perfect fit! Our virtual bootcamp of fit sisters exists on an app where we plug in daily. Once you’ve registered with me for a spot in our group, you’ll be given access to the group. It will officially kick off on Monday, November 28th, but registration opens on Monday, October 31st and will max out at 20 women. Once you’re in there, you’ll find a group of other like minded sisters in Christ who are on fire to fight to the FINISH. We have a theme scripture and we let it take root in our hearts … God has already given me the one for this group, see below! We get to know each other, we pray for each other, and we empower each other, it’s a beautiful thing that God is doing in these groups!
